Already speak some Persian? Want to be more fluent and more literate? This fall,
Persian is the official language of Iran and Tajikistan and one of the official languages of Afghanistan. For more than a thousand years it has been one of the most important languages of the Middle East, Central and South Asia and a major vehicle for poetry, philosophy, sciences, and Islamic literature.
